Cousins! Tulsa, OK

This is a belated post, but we have all been battling the cold/flu these past few weeks. Two weekends ago, we went to Tulsa, OK to for a Koss Family visit. It was so much fun seeing all my very tall aunts and uncles and of course, playing with my cousins. Amelia is the “mommy” of the group, taking care of all of us. Jonah and I have a lot of the same interests — cars, trucks, trains. And Grace and I are the closest in age, and we both can be very serious at times. We had so much fun staying with the Posey’s. The trip was extra special because Mimi, Grandpa Koss and Auntie Lisa all came too. We went to COTM, the pumpkin patch (with pony rides and all), and had lots of family time. This was one of the best family get-togethers yet!

Happy Belated Birthday to Cousin Peyton and Auntie RoRo!

With such a hectic schedule, I don’t always get around to posting birthday greetings on time. But, nonetheless, we were thinking of you, and hoping you each did something special to celebrate your birthdays.

xoxo, TANK

If it helps, I was a little stressed out by how long it took me to post this blog. (See below!)

FL Vacation: Cousins + Pool = Blast!

I went on my first cross-country flight to Destin, FL to hang with my cousins (Triston, Peyton and Nora) as well as with my mom’s family (the Adams Family). For the first part of the trip, I had a bit of a cold, but towards the end of the week, I was able to shake it off and really enjoy hanging out with my cousins at the pool. A special thanks to my cousins, aunties, uncles and Nana for taking the time to see us! Here’s just a few of my favorite pictures.

Not sure who is having more fun watching the planes — me or Mom! (What you don’t see is that I had so much fun waving to the crew as they did their work outside.)

Cousin Nora and I played so well together. She’s the cutest, and almost weighs just as much as me. Mom says someday she’ll grow up and be able to beat all of us boys up.

Mr. Tank Meets Cousin Gracie

On Sunday, I met my cousin Gracie from Tulsa, OK. We were excellent playmates, and had a blast playing in the house, in the backyard and at the Levy’s. It was so much fun, and I asked Mom and Dad to book us a trip to Tulsa this fall so we can catch up again.

I showed Grace the best way to play with a puzzle is to put as many pieces as possible in your mouth.

Grace and I played in the backyard, washing dishes in my sink and swinging. Grace loved the yellow spatula.

Thanksgiving 2008

Here’s just a few photos from my first-ever Thanksgiving in Palo Alto. Mom and Dad prepared me with stories about all of our relatives, but meeting them in person was so much fun. There’s no greater feeling than being loved by so many aunts, uncles and cousins. One special moment was meeting my great-great Auntie Si. I want to have her spirit when I get older! The best moments of the trip were all the special cuddle times. Mom says we have the greatest relatives ever — and I can’t wait for next year’s Thanksgiving. Perhaps I’ll even be able to play in the Croquet tournament.

New Friend in San Diego and Holloway Cousin on the Way

Riley Noreen Levien was born on April 30th and everyone is doing great. Congratulations to her proud parents — Tricia and Alan. I can’t wait to meet her and have play dates together in San Diego.

I also heard that I have another Holloway cousin on the way. He/she is expected to arrive in Dec. or Jan. (If it’s safe, Mom says induce by Dec. 31st for a tax break.) It’ll be fun to have a cousin so close in age.
